I Want To Be The Message
I want to be the message
of heartfelt Love and Peace.
I want to be the message,
an epistle that men can see—
A message not hidden by misery,
nor envy and strife,
A gem that shines with brightness
and covers darkness with light.
I want to be the message of love
and total surrender,
A vessel filled with kindness,
tempered with gentleness so tender.
I want to be the message of
meekness
and unshakeable conviction,
A message that draws men to the
Savior,
in endless benediction.
I want to be the message of Prayer,
On Christ depending,
Rejoicing in truth, enduring in faith,
believing with hope unending.
I want to be the message of a sinner
eternally set free
To live a life of unconditional love,
as the
Message lives in ME.
